We wanted to share helpful recycling information for our various packaging components. Information is provided directly by our vendors to help with recycling efforts.
Retail Box Packaging:
We are slowly transitioning to our brand new retail box packaging, which offers better, safer, and reusable storage for your Mother's Angels® ornaments while not in use. Our packaging is made using recyclable paper and PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) plastic. To ensure proper recycling, separate materials. Note: Foam insert not recyclable.
Header Cards:
"The material chosen for your header cards consists of 55% recycled content and is 100% recyclable. We take pride in using sustainable practices and materials to minimize our environmental impact.
Furthermore, we prioritize the use of vegetable-based inks in our printing process. These inks have lower levels of volatile organic compounds (VOC) compared to traditional petroleum-based inks. By using vegetable-based inks, we contribute to reducing harmful carbon emissions and create a safer work environment.
In addition, we apply a non-toxic water-based aqueous (AQ) coating to our Matte and Gloss prints. This coating not only enhances the biodegradability of our products but also improves print drying times, ensuring a high-quality end result."
Plastic Bags:
The plastic bags are recycle code 5pp. While it is recyclable, it isn't accepted everywhere. Please check locally for recycling information.
