  • Handcrafted in Texas. Each ornament is designed and made by hand in our studio. Natural variations in the wood and color — including grain, pattern, and texture — make every piece one of a kind.
  • Materials: Sapele wood veneer, Acrylic (inspired by stained glass, but considerably more durable), MDF core, and decorative string for hanging.
  • Created for Cat Lovers: This design was made to honor the cats who stay with us, even after they’re gone. Many customers choose to personalize it with a name or date as a quiet, meaningful reminder.
  • Display Options: While it’s designed as an ornament, it also has a flat base and can stand on its own — perfect for a shelf, desk, or memorial space year-round.

This design came from a very real place — wanting something that felt just right for remembering a cat who meant everything.

Each ornament is handcrafted in Texas by our small team, using a layered process that gives it depth, warmth, and color that shifts beautifully in the light.

It’s designed to be kept out all year long. Hang it in a window, place it on a shelf, or create a small space that feels like them. Some people keep it near their desk. Others add it to a quiet memorial area at home.

While it works beautifully on a Christmas tree, most customers choose a spot where they’ll see it every day.

The three-layer design means it looks just as nice from the back as it does from the front — especially when the light comes through.

Each piece arrives individually packaged and ready for gifting, whether that’s for someone else or for yourself.

We source our materials from small businesses across the U.S., and every original design is marked with the Forged Flare® logo on the back.

This One Started With a Cat We Loved

We didn’t originally plan to make a cat design.

But after losing our cat, Widget — just shy of her 18th birthday — we couldn’t stop thinking about it.

We wanted something that didn’t feel overly sad… but also didn’t ignore what she meant to us.

Something we could keep out. Something that still felt like her.

So we designed this.

About Rescue Me Meow Meow

That’s where Rescue Me Meow Meow comes in.

They’re a Texas-based rescue focused on helping cats and kittens get the care they need — from food and medical support to fostering and adoption — so they have a real chance at finding their person.

It’s also the rescue that connected us with Gadget, who now keeps watch over the studio (and occasionally “helps” with quality control).

We support them because we’ve seen firsthand what that second chance means.
